Dear Yarra Bicycle Users Group ,
Recently *Yarra Councillors FAILED to vote _for_ the Wellington Street 
Copenhagen lane*.
Making their wonderful Bicycle Strategy a dead duck.
YCAN (and many others) was shocked that reportedly a single voice at the 
council meeting was enough of a fig leaf for the ALP and Cr Vlahogiannis 
to vote against the Wellington Street proposal and Mayor Fristacky 
to abstain causing this debacle.
This Copenhagen lane has been the subject of multiple rounds of 
consultation, thankfully Cr Stone was able to get a motion up to look at 
the consequences for the Bicycle Strategy.
If you want more people to cycle.
If you want to have safer bike paths.
If you want Yarra to do what it's own policy lays out.
Then please *join with us at the Yarra Council Meeting*.
