5. News from DarebinBUG: Hello Moonee BUG, Moreland BUG, Banyule BUG,
Whittlesea BUG, Yarra BUG and Rail Trails Australia
You're invited .... A new life for an ageing Victorian rail trail (with
possible future connections for Melbourne!)
Overview:** Being one of the earliest Victorian rail trails (initial
section 1992-93 period), post 1999 the O'Keefe Rail Trail had become a
forgotten trail by its manager. In 2009, some Bendigo community members
embarked on a journey to reverse the declining popularity and condition
of this trail and put a new vision forward for its future. That journey
continues!
