As mentioned in last months newsletter, the next Yarra Bicycle Advisory 
Committee Meeting is 18th August, tomorrow night!

See below for a reminder of tomorrow nights agenda & hope to see you

Council's Bicycle Advisory Committee aims to give local residents an 
opportunity to provide regular input to Council on the development of 
the local bicycle network and other bicycle infrastructure in Yarra. 
Membership is open to any member of the Yarra community with an interest 
in policies related to cycling and the development of the local bicycle 
network.*

*Fitzroy Town Hall, 201 Napier St, corner of Napier & Moor Street, 
Fitzroy (Google maps:http://bit.ly/dy2fGf )
Time: 6.30- 7:30pm, Mayor's Room. Light refreshments & tea/coffee.

Extra instructions: Enter from Napier Street side, Mayors Room (it's 
labelled)  is on the 1st floor up the stairs in front of you, through 
the sliding doors, turn left, first room (not the kitchenette) looking 
over Napier Street.

Chair: Cr Sam Gaylard, Secretariat: Kate Simnett, Sustainable Transport 
Officer

Item 1 -- Transport Management Association Access Melbourne. David 
Meiklejohn from TMA will present on mentoring 'bike buddy' systems -- a 
program which brings experienced and new cyclists together.
Item 2 - Cyclists Visibility Project. Kate will present the findings of 
the survey data collected during this project.
Item 3 - Gertrude -- Langridge proposed bike route, Cremorne -- 
Sandringham proposed bike route. Kate will make a brief presentation 
about these routes.
Item 4 - Resident requests for private bike hoops
