MelbourneBUG have been doing a lot of work on the Road Safety Amendment, 
in February they helped organise the Get Pushy for Bike Safety rally to 
support the legislation now before Victorian Parliament.

The Parliament of Victoria's Economy and Infrastructure Legislation 
Committee is conducting an inquiry into the Road Safety Amendment (Car 
Doors) Bill 2012. Please find attached a letter from the Chair of the 
Committee inviting Bicycle User Groups and Clubs to make submissions 
into the inquiry and some information about preparing a submission. 
*Submissions will close on Friday, 27 April 2012. *
