Bikefest Melbourne Wed 24th - Sun 28th November

Geelong Critical Mass Bike Ride - Friday 26th November
5:30PM Johnstone Park adjacent to Geelong railway station.
Critical Mass rides usually held on the last friday of the month. People
gather in a large, central area and go on a peleton-like ride through main
streets for 30 mins or so, demonstrating that cyclists are not in the way
of traffic but are part of the traffic (not that we like traffic!). Of
course we could just meet up and do a social ride that's not a 'critical
mass' ride, but i just thought tapping into this worldwide network would
be fun.

Critical Mass (Melbourne) 15th birthday ride - Friday 26th November
5:30PM for 6PM. How much has changed in 15 years! It's almost respectable
to ride a bike for transport. Come and celebrate the accelerating rate of
progress in our City.

Ride Planet Earth - Sunday 28th November
10AM Federation Square, Ride to the "Zero Carbon World Concert".
Meet up with others riding the same route:
Edenvale Farm along Main Yarra Trail, Capital City Trail and Diamond Creek
Trail (40km)

Ride-in Movies - Saturday 4th December
7:30PM Terminus Hotel, Clifton Hill.
♪♫Saturday night at the movies. ♫♪ ♫ Who cares what picture we'll see...
♪♫♫♪ Here's the plan Stan, Meet at the Terminus Hotel Clifton Hill for a
7:30 depart to Coburg. We'll leisurely ride up through Thornbury, Regent
and West Preston with a stop to pick up cold drinks and snacks near
Preston Market. Movies start at dusk (Sunset is 8:29pm) so we'll have
plenty of time. Bring a picnic blanket or chair and something to eat.
drink & share... ***** This event is naturally weather dependent ******

December Full Moon Ride - Tuesday 21st December
7PM - Just 4 big sleeps to Xmas.. Lets ride by some xmas lights
somewhere.... Or by the bay.... Or to a swimming hole... Stay tuned for

Critical Mass and New Year's eve - Friday 31st December
What would people like to do on this auspicious co-incidence of two party
dates? CM to a pub then on to the bikefun City roof-top for a view of the

Since 2000, The Otesha Project (Aus.) has pedaled across Australia

and secondary school students to consider their life choices to create a
positive future.
Following the 2010 Otesha tour, a tour member recalled ‘There is no better
way to test your potential, stretch your boundaries and really live, than
to do something like Otesha where you’re walking the talk of a simple and
more sustainable lifestyle, meeting so many inspirational people along the
way and seeing the countryside at the first light of day’.
Otesha (Aust.) is seeking people from all walks of life – people with
varying experiences, backgrounds and interests. Otesha is unique in that
each tour member gets the opportunity to organise a region of the tour;
