Critical Mass - Friday 28th May

5:30PM - State Library.  or 4:30PM Tottenham:
Bikezilla is coming to the Mass again! Then the mass is going to 
Bikezilla, ending up somewhere in the Footscray direction. 
Dynon Road here we come!
We need up to 6 riders to meeting Bikezilla in Tottenham: 4:30pm, Friday 
April 30.
Bikezilla will need to be returned to Tottenham after CM.
Here is the general plan: 
1) Train / bike to the bikezilla warehouse in Tottenham
2) Leave bikes in / near the warehouse
3) Ride bikezilla to State Library by 6pm
4) Ride bikezilla on CM (swap on and off with friends if you like)
5) Enjoy a pub meal or similar with other CMers
6) Return Bikezilla to Tottenham
7) Collect own bikes from warehouse

6pm Fed Square, ride out along Footscray Rd, Maribyrnong River to the 
Anglers.  If the evening is mild, we might sit outside in the garden and

Rock'n ride - Friday 4th june
******************************************************
meet 6pm fed square for a ride to cliffhanger Altona for a night of indoor 
rock climbing.  they do half price Friday nights, so $14/pp with 
entry/gear hire.  they close at 9pm so try not to be late for the start! 
 Stevie T has volunteered to help show us the ropes. Organiser:  jellyware

Tour de Queens Birthday: 11-14th June

6:25pm Friday night at Spencer st station to catch a vline train (with 
guard van) to Beaufort station. Ride about 45 km to Avoca (arrive about 
10.30pm) stay at Avoca caravan park. 
Saturday: Leave campsite set up at Avoca and enjoy a day ride out to 
several wineries in the area. Total day 40km. 
Sunday: Avoca to either Maldon (campsite) or Baringup national park. about 
62km. 
Monday: Ride to Bendigo and visit a winery near by or head to the local 
wine bar in town. 40km. Catch the vline train (with guard 
van) from Bendigo at 6.21 pm - arrive in the city by 8.28pm. 
There are many other options we could take ie. if it rains heaps we could 
stay in Avoca and catch the train back from Beaufort to the city. If some 
people didn't want to ride at night on the Friday night, they could catch 
an early train on Saturday morning and meet us at a winery near Avoca or 
in Avoca Saturday arvo/evening. We could also cut the Monday ride shorter 
by going to Castlemaine instead of Bendigo. Bring camping gear, lots of 
warm clothes and a good sense of adventure! let us know if you are 
interested in coming along - it will be best to book vline tickets and 
campsites in advance.

Shortest day Winery ride 20th June:

10:06 Flinders St Station, Lilydale train. Ride along the Warburton rail 
trail for about 10-15 km to several wineries around Seville. Ride back 
along the trail. Bring lights- some night riding (being the shortest day 
and all). this was a lot of fun last year!!

Winter solstice ride and party - Monday 21st June

6pm Fed Square for the traditional ride to a secret location for a party 
around a bonfire.  Bring your own alcohol and some wood for the fire if 
possible. Bring a tent too if you like, and a sleeping bag.

Full Moon Ride - Monday 26th July

7:30pm Laverton Station (Werribee line)
Catch the 6:45 pm from Flinders Street Station Platforms 4&5 (western end 
- last carriage) 
Ride by the light of the full moon along the western shore of Port Phillip 
Bay back to the city (~30km). Great coastal scenery & a fun ride. Mainly 
bike paths with a little on-road. 
Bring food, drink and good conversation to share for a picnic on the way 
:) 
Also bring a warm jacket as sometimes the evening sea breeze can be a

The Crosskeys Crusiers - Strathmore - Friday rides

The Crosskeys Crusiers are a group of retired men and women who meet in 
the Crosskeys CarPark near the Strathmore station at 9am on Friday 
mornings. 
The rides are decided each Friday and the adventure begins. Some riders go 
till morning tea while others ride till lunch and then home at about 3pm.
