The next City of Yarra - Bicycle Advisory Committee Meeting is on 
Wednesday 21st October 2009.

Also, thank you to everyone who has contributed feedback to the Draft 
Yarra Bicycle Strategy 2010-2015.

The deadline for submissions to the strategy ends this *Thursday 22 
October 2009*.  Please forward your comments to Council's Co-ordinator

Fitzroy Town Hall is located on the corner of Moor and Napier Street, 
Fitzroy. Mel. Ref 2C B9. Access to Fitzroy Town Hall is from Napier St, 
up the central stairs to the front doors. Between 6.15pm and 6.30pm Mark 
Kulyk (City of Yarra Transport Coordinator) will be at the front 
entrance to let attendees in, please call Mark  on his mobile if you 
arrive later. If disability access is required, please contact him on

2. Bicycle Film Festival -- presentation by Ambitious Horse. 10-15 mins.

3. Yarra Bicycle Strategy

    * Quick update and thank you for BAC input provided.

4. A new focus for BAC.

    * Develop objectives and actions for BAC. What could the BAC do?
    * Some initial ideas

    - Advocate/influence better cyclist and motorist behaviour
    - Promote compliant and safe cycling
    - Address non-compliant motorists
    - Safe night and winter riding

5. Next Meeting -- 9 December 2009, Fitzroy Town Hall, 6.30- 7:30pm, 
Mayor's Room
