gob fliuch! 

Canning Street at Princes St, near to the Dan O'Connell will be almost
impassable today. So unless you wish to stop there on the way home for a
beer or three, I suggest that you use Drummond, Rathdowne or Napier Streets
for the northward journey. It's probably worth avoiding tomorrow morning as
well (see pics from 2007).
