******************************************************
Bike in Movies - Friday 23rd of January
******************************************************
Departing 8pm from the Rose Hotel, 406 Napier St Fitzroy (cnr Leicester
St) Fitzroy. We'll have a pleasant ride up beside the Merri Creek to
Newlands Rd Of course actual movie choices won't be known till the prior
Thursday but there are three screens so there should be something on we
all will like (or tolerate). If you can, bring a chair or something soft
to sit on as only one screen has a grassed forecourt and the film we want
may not be showing on that screen. As always bring snacks to share and
beverages of your choice. Keep checking the Bikefun Calendar for updates.

******************************************************
Presenting a special series of Bike Polo, "Summer Sessions 2009".
******************************************************
Summer sessions will be held at 2pm every Saturday over the next 7 weeks.
Featuring
• A juicy and spacious fully enclosed court with continuous
playable edges.
• Opportunities for beginners to get involved at a
comfortable pace.
• A fun and positive environment for everyone.
• Challenging games for experienced players.
• All-in Footdown every week at 3pm.
Mark these Saturday Summer Sessions in your diary!
January 17th, 24th & 31st.
February, 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th
We ask you to respect that we play on a school basketball court in a
residential area. Please keep this in mind while playing or spectating.

We've produced some flyers and posters which can be downloaded and printed
from www.bikepolo.com.au. We'd love it if you could pass these onto
others who may be interested in trying bike polo.

******************************************************
Critical Mass - Friday 30th of January and Last Friday every month.
******************************************************
5:30PM - State Library. The motorists will all be back from holidays, so
it's time to reclaim a small slice of Melbourne's public open space for
humanity, for a brief interval.
Come and enjoy the party on (2) wheels. organiser: you

******************************************************
Beach Rides - hot nights in Jan/Feb/Mar - register for text message
notification
******************************************************
Dates TBA (hot weather required) - Join the bicycle beach party as we ride
to
the sea for a swim and fish 'n' chips on a hot summer night. But because we
don't know the weather in advance, we can't set the date. So you need to email
your mobile phone number to beachriders at gmail.com or SMS "Beach" to 0439
88 00 93. Then when a hot night (over 25 degrees) is forecast in the next
few days, you will be sent an SMS giving the time (evening) & place (CBD)
for the ride start.
