[YarraBUG-list] Bicycle Network Board Elections

Hi Yarra BUG members,

I'm not sure how many of you are Bicycle Network members, but for those who
are, I am writing to seek your support in the upcoming Bicycle Network
board elections (voting open 1-16 Oct).

I hope that if successful in joining the board, I will be better able to
influence change, for safer outcomes for cyclists. In particular, I hope to
continue my longstanding advocacy for Minimum Passing Distance Legislation;
building a network of safe bike lanes; and improved driver education and
training.

Note there are two positions open at this time. Fellow candidate, Faith
Hunter, and I are co-hosting a meet and greet at Commuter Cycles tomorrow
night (Monday 30 Sep), from 5-6pm. If you'd like to hear from each of us
about what we're hoping to achieve on the BN Board, and ask us any
questions, please come along!
