Hi,

Parks Victoria will be undertaking Stage 1 of the Roseneath Street 
Bridge – Main Yarra Trail connection upgrade.  The two (unsealed) 
secondary paths linking the Main Yarra Trail and the Roseneath Street 
Bridge within Yarra Bend Park will be upgraded; Melway Map 2D, Ref C4

It is anticipated the works will take place in mid-March for two weeks.  
For approximately five days the Roseneath Street Bridge will need to be 
closed while the concrete at the interface sets.  The contractor 
(Simpson Construction) will apply the attached ‘traffic management plan’ 
for when the bridge/path is closed and Parks Victoria will also display 
signage on site.

Riders wishing to continue north along the Merri Creek Path/Capital City 
Trail should use either Trenerry Crescent (ride cautiously along narrow 
footpath) or continue along Main Yarra Trail through Yarra Bend Park, 
crossing back to Merri Creek at Heidelberg Road.
