The Chocolate Ride - Saturday 2nd of August
******************************************************
Note a week earlier than previously advertised
11am (for 11:15 start) 
All Nations Park, Dennis St Northcote, (Mel 30 G7)

Indulge your love of cycling and your love of Chocolate with a ride that 
takes all the Chocolate Cafés between Northcote and the City.    
This will be a ride at social pace via quiet back streets and off road 
paths that takes in Coco Loco (High St Northcote), San Churro (Brunswick
St Fitzroy), Coco Black (Lygon St Carlton), Frau´s (Victoria St North 
Melbourne) and Max Brenner (Melbourne Central CBD).   

It will be a decadent day that would make Augustus Gloop proud. 
And for the truly gluttonous there´s always the option finish up at the 
Chocolate Rush Festival at Abbotsford Convent

Brewery (Richmond).
Start Cyclic Bikes, 56 Pin Oak Cres (opposite Newmarket Station)
Leave 6pm sharp, bring your party shoes....

Morebug ride: Bay trail ride - Sunday 17th August
******************************************************
Meet at Flinders St Station at 10:05am, in front of the mural/mosaic near 
Princes Bridge (and Clocks TAB)
Ride to Beacon Cove along the light rail trail. Follow the bay past St Kilda. 
Stop for lunch along the way, and people can catch a train back when they are 
ready (the fittest could head towards Frankston).

The Otesha Project

Bike grease, sustainability,  adventure, and endless peanut-butter 
sandwiches: Otesha hits the road on a mission to empower youth. 
Are you passionate about sustainability and looking for something a 
little different to do this coming summer? Have you ever dreamt about riding 
around parts of Australia on two wheels? If so, then why not put those dreams 
into action and join The Otesha Project (Australia): Cycling for
Sustainability's forthcoming adventures. The project is currently seeking 40 
participants to take part in two six-week cycle tours: Brisbane to Newcastle
(15 November - 22 December 2008); Melbourne regional loop (18 January - 1 
March 2009).  
The Otesha crew combines theatre performance with interactive workshops to 
empower high school students to consider their life choices to ensure 
a positive future.  
The application deadline for tour participants is August 15, 2008. For
