Good Afternoon BAC

There has been a bit going on recently in the news so I thought it would 
be good to send out an email with the various details.  I hope to see 
most of you tomorrow night.

VICParks works are continuing the Alma Wharf section of the Main Yarra 
Trail. Reinforcement of the Alma Wharf structure including piles and 
repairs to the substructure have now been completed. The decking and a 
replacement handrail are currently being installed and an engineering 
inspection will be conducted prior to reopening the wharf to ensure 
public safety.   Pending favourable weather and conditions Parks 
Victoria is expecting this section of the Main Yarra Trail to re-open by 
Friday 22 August.

The proposed Northeast Link may not be built as part of the East-West Link.
