Dinner ride - Wednesday 20th October

6:00PM Federation Square, near the "shard", i.e. opposite Flinders St
Station. Ride to Kensington for a meal, possibly a Vietnamese noodle

Melbourne Greens ride - Saturday 23rd October
******************************************************
11a.m. Kensington Railway Station. Ride through the State electorate of
Melbourne with Greens candidate Brian Walters, visiting points of
interest. We will be looking at bicycle facilities, parkland, planning
issues and more. Families welcome. Finish with a BBQ at Yarra Park (near
the MCG and Jolimont Railway Station) about 1pm to 2pm (BYO stuff to

Full Moon Ride - Darebin Creek - Saturday 23rd October

7:30pm Epping Railway Station. Following the Darebin Creek under the full
moon, back to the City. You can catch the 6:48pm train from Flinders St
Station (platform 1, last carriage of the train). Planning to have a BBQ
en route, but bring some supper of your choice anyhow. Organisers: Pete &

David Bland Ride for Life - Sunday 24th October

2PM - Hawthorn Velodrome to Birrarung Marr via Gardiners Creek trail and
return (approx 17km). Donation: $10 for individuals or $30 per family.

5:30PM for 6:00PM - State Library. Last chance to ride in a small-ish

Hanover ConnectEast Ride for Home - Sunday 14th November

Ride on one of Melbourne’s smoothest pieces of bitumen, using both
carriageways and including trips through both of EastLink’s 1.6km tunnels.
Ride for Home aims to raise $450,000 for Hanover to meet the growing needs
of homeless Victorians. Entry is by pre-event registration only. Places
are limited so register early to secure your place on the start line. More

Bikefest is a new event for Melbourne that celebrates and advocates for
bikes as part of everyday life. Bikefest is planned and delivered by the
same volunteer committee that brought you the Melbourne Bicycle Film

Critical Mass 15th birthday ride - Friday 26th November

Melbourne is changing and so is Critical Mass. It's more fun, less
confrontational but still a party on wheels. The birthday ride is always
a blast, the biggest ride of the year.
