Petty's Orchard Ride - Sunday 28th March

9am for 9:30 departure - 17 Park Cres, Fairfield.  Bring some food to 
share, and space to stock up on goodies at the Orchard!  Questions:

Join us on a ride along the Yarra Trail to the Apple tasting festival at 
Petty's Orchard in Templestowe.  Glide past billabongs, wetlands, areas of 
revegetation and regeneration by our beloved Yarra River.  Arrive at an 
organic fruit orchard, and pick your favourite apple out of more than 200 
varieties!
Speakers: David Holmgren, permaculture founder and teacher; Vasili 
Kandiadis of gardening fame; Susan McKinnon, bee expert.
Music, snake charming, picnic, orchard tours!
This is a gorgeous day out.  A long ride - 50km if you ride there and 
back, but there's the option of catching the train home from Eltham if 
you're tuckered out.  The ride is medium grade, with some great hills.

[BFM] Blue Moon Ride - Diamond Creek Tuesday Mar 30
******************************************************
We'll venture past Eltham to semi-rural Diamond Creek and follow the whole 
Diamond Creek trail to Westerfolds Park. There we'll have a rest break at 
the Mia Mia Gallery picnic area for (BYO) refreshments.
For those who want to keep the ride to an easy 20km, Heidelberg Station is 
a good opt-out point (2Hr Metcards should be valid to 3am), Others can 
continue to ride to Clifton Hill making it a 30km ride.
Meet Flinders St Station Platform 1 at 6:15pm to catch the 6:22pm 
Hurstbridge Train (last carriage) to Diamond Creek Station (arriving 
7:18pm).
As always bring drinks, nibblies and good conversation to share.  (There 
is a supermarket & bottleshop beside the station for those who need to 
shop late on the night)

Valley.  45km and 120km courses and offers live music and entertainment

The Crosskeys Crusiers are a group of retired men and women who meet in 
the Crosskeys CarPark near the Strathmore station at 9am on Friday 
mornings. 
The rides are decided each Friday and the adventure begins. Some riders go 
till morning tea while others ride till lunch and then home at about 3pm.
