Hi all,

Please read the email below, anyone with a slightly older memory will 
recall a similar tactic, opps mention to type 'issue' on the Upfield 
path at Albert Street in 2002.

As mentioned, please ensure your letter gets to Moreland Council by THIS 
Wednesday 12th December.

Please make sure you also make sure all your friends, cycling mates, 
work colleagues etc,  who use the Upfield path are made aware of this issue.

Dear All
you assistance is being sought to prevent a title boundary change at 
Anstey Station. The property next door, 216 Albion Street, is seeking to 
acquire all the vacant land (the gravel car park on the east side of the 
station building) so that cyclists will be forced to use the existing 
asphalt path with it's constraining fence, blind exit and pedestrians. 
This is unsafe, unsatisfactory and unnecessary - cyclists and 
pedestrians cannot safely share that space and there are already too 
many width constraints on the path - we don't want any more .
 
It is important that as many people as possible OBJECT to it. In your 
written submission, you must state that you object to the proposal 
otherwise your submission carries no weight. Make sure you include an 
address so that you can be contacted and notified of what happens next. 
In fact your objection is invalid without a contact address. Please do 
this on or before Wednesday 12 December 07.

Address your submission as follows, stating what your interest is eg: I am a cyclist who regularly cycles 
past Anstey Station etc. and what you object to. It does not need to be
