I think you were joking when you first wrote this, but I am seriously
starting to wonder if BV sold out its members by telling the DOI this
ban would be acceptable in exchange for... ???
Or if they sold out for nothing at all, that's almost worse. Not only
are they sell-outs, but they're *cheap* sell-outs. :)
It seems like a lot of positives may come out of this. DOI will
hopefully be wary of trusting BV's assurances again and they may have
no choice but to, gasp, talk to cyclist groups. BV will hopefully
learn not to take their position (and members) for granted.
