Hi all,
Time to plan for another meeting to reappraise our goals:
http://yarrabug.org/pipermail/publictransport_yarrabug.org/2008-January/000027.html
Now do we want to try another meetup similar to the previous ones at
CERES, Geelong and Castlemaine?
Or do we what to combine the Melbourne, Geelong & Castlemaine meetings
with a Skype conference call, as previously suggested.
At this point it's important we clearly state our campaigns goals, as
getting involved with too many perpheral issues will dilute the message
and our collective energies.
Speaking as a individual who is involved with bicycle adovcacy
practically 24/7, we should reappraise what Kosky mentioned yesterday
and stick to clearly defined goals. Otherwise we're going to potentailly
bogged down with too many wishlists.
According to media, there will be a new overhaul, whatever, in a
fortnight. We need to part of that process, as this precis aptly
describes recent ineptitude:

Brianna mentioned she had tried to contact DOI yesterday.
Is there any offical media release or ministerial statement to clarify
Kosky's changed position?
As Adrian Webb from DOI is on (overseas) holidays, who else do we
contact in DOI or should BtBB make direct representations to Lynne Kosky?
cheers,
Chris
