According to a Connex sign at Glen Waverley station last week, bikes and
surfboards were subject to the same ban.
A demonstration of people with bikes, surfboards, prams, backpacks and
suitcases all sharing the space together without conflict would be a good
message. If there are too many cyclists for a given train, this may involve some
cyclists waiting for a later train that does have sufficient room.
